Jaeny began her career as a Registered Nurse working in a variety of settings including Med-Surg, E.R. & Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She received various awards and recognition in patient care and in leadership. Jaeny graduated with honors from Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona where she completed her Masters and FNP residencies.
As an adolescent, Jaeny battled severe acne all throughout high school. She tried various treatments such as antibiotics and retinoids, and even dared to put toothpaste on her pimples. After suffering from acne for many years she was prescribed Isotretinoin. This changed her life, and she wishes she was prescribed Isotretinoin sooner. As an adult, Jaeny was diagnosed with Celiac disease, and also suffers from a rare form of herpetic dermatitis which affects less than 2% of the celiac population. A trace of gluten in her diet can quickly cause intense itching and irritation, as well as embarrassment. She is able to relate first hand with many of her patients and understands the frustrations of acne and dermatitis.
Jaeny is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Dermatology Nurse’s Association. She has received specialized training in dermatology and is able to provide a full scope of dermatological services: Diagnose, treat, and prescribe all skin conditions. She is highly skilled in performing full body exams, biopsies, sutures, acne, dermatitis, and cosmetic procedures: BBL, Halo, Laser hair removal, Q-switch laser, Botox and fillers. She finds interacting with patients to be both educational and a rewarding part of her career.
Jaeny enjoys traveling, gardening, golfing, and spending time with her family.
